Rural People’s Voice is a non-profit, non-partisan organization working to build civic power in rural communities in North Central Washington. As a freelance designer, I work closely with community organizers and leadership at Rural People’s Voice, using the power of design to ensure that materials are impactful, informative, and memorable to voters. My work with Rural People’s Voice has included designing engaging bilingual print pieces for educating voters about how and when to vote, including mailers, door hangers, and literature for their youth fellows program. By balancing clear communication with approachable design, these projects ensure vital voting information reaches community members regardless of the language they speak at home, helping ensure everyone’s voice is heard on election day,
